John Cena is this generation's Hulk Hogan. He unrealisticly wins most or all of his matches and hardly ever puts anyone over. He isnt the most technical wrestler ever, you either watch him and cheer him to win or you watch him to boo him and lose.

First of all.. you cannot compair John with Hulk.. No way can you do that! Have you actually watched WWE?
Anyways.. I would Cheer him on.. but if there was a Match with John and Hulk then I will Boo John..

Cena can't carry Hogan's boot laces. I get what you're saying about their similarities, but Hogan took wrestling to a popularity level it had never, EVER been to before. He did the impossible (at the time), and made professional wrestling mainstream. He's charismatic, he works the mic well, and can carry a match decently (even if, as you said, he's no Ric Flair).
Cena hit the lottery, basically. He got the charisma of a shoe, can't work the stick at ALL, and is boring to watch. His character is what got him over, with ghetto wannabes.
He got BOOED last year at the Wrestlemania main event -- and HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE BABYFACE!!!!! What does that tell you?

well you can kind of compair hogan and cena neither one of them have talent.
Cena has no talent at all. He has to copy his moves from great wrestlers with talent such as the rock stone cold .
He only wins each and every match because he is kissing Vince's @s$.
I can not stand the guy never have and never will. he is useless. The great legands are turning over in there graves becuase of that cheap dollar store spiner belt.
He also needs to make up his mind does he wanna rap or wrestle because he can not do both.

cena isnt up there with Hogan no ways.. i agree with alice.. if they had a match then i would put money on hogan.. cena is only a star but hogan is a legendary wrestling icon.. you cant compare the bull with a calf.. cena being the calf..

i like Cena, i think b/4 he started getting pop WWE was going down the drain.. alot of the other wrestlers had left, Rock, Stone Cold, Rakishi...no one could get the crowd going but he can...
