there's this picture in my classroom with a cat looking all evil saying "I'm in ur akount sharding yur purplz!" someone printed it off because it was funny but no one knows what sharding your purples means...so just wondering if any of ya'll knew...

I assume it's a play on the words "shred your papers".

In the game World of Warcraft there is a profession called Enchanting. Using this you can disenchant items to yield "shards". That is the first part. Part number two is :Weapons are graded by color. Grey is the least important and most common, where purple is the second highest rank. A purple item is extremely rare and hard to get. Here is where they come together and the crazy kitty enters. Sometimes peoples passwords get stolen or hacked and other players use their accounts to sell of all the armor and weapons a person has spent a lot of time earning. They then send the profit to their own character. So if someone is on your account sharding your purples, they have hacked in and are disenchanting your rare items and laughing at you. I hope this wasn't too long an answer.

I found the phrase on the following website, but I have no idea what it means. Must have something to do with gaming.
