I'm working on an AP English term paper about George Orwell's Animal Farm...the only problem is that I'm supposed to use things critiques have said.

So does anyone know any good critical analysis sites? I've used all the books that I have available but I still need more information...

If anyone could give me some sites that would be totally awesome.

Thanks a lot!

Go to the library and use a set of books called Contemporary Literary Criticism. There might be an electronic version as well.

The Internet is a mile wide and an inch deep. I wouldn't trust it for academic research unless you are sure the information you are getting is trustworthy.

While I agree with Suzy that you must be leery of some Internet sites, I do recommend J-Stor. This site is typically available through school library subscriptions, or the public library. J-Stor provides literally thousands of journals in a PDF on line format, allowing you to search through these databases with very narrow focus.

Another suggestion is to search through the Explicator, a literary critical journal that specializes in quick critiques.
