I thinks that's something that's really up to you and him to decide. I've got family friends that I call aunt and uncle so I don't see a problem with it at all.

your in laws nephew is your husband nephew so that makes you all both in the same level /category soits ok for u to call his nephew as ur own nephew but of course not on tha same degree

if you are really close to him and consider him tobe like one then sure!! I call my close girlfriends my sisters...so why not? The important thing to realize is that he is only "like a nephew" not a nephew by birth.
