My boss keeps forcing me to work all the our under the sun and I've had barely any time to do any of my school work or go out at all these past few weeks. So for the first time I just rang in saying I was too ill to go in tonight because my friends who I haven't seen in ages invited me out. Tonights an easy night and there's never a lot to do, so it's not a big deal really, and looking at the big picture here, I stack shelves for a few hours, not exactly brain surgery i'm skippin here, do you think i'm a bad peron for doing this?

I say do it. Remember that you'll have to be slightly under the weather the next day. Don't tell a soul what you really did as they may rat you out. Once in a while is okay but don't get caught. Have fun.

you're not a bad person, your just not a good employee. Try and sit down with your boss and explain when and how many hours you can work in order to continue your schooling. If you are a hard working employee he's make concessions to keep you.

No, you're just human. We've all done it. One night isn't going to make a hell of a lot of difference, unless your a heart surgeon or something (no offence, shelf stackers are important too!)

no....and maybe you need to talk to your boss and say you need time for your school work....that the hours your work are making your school work suffer.
