I think the people will accept it a bit more readily than the so called experts we see a lot on TV these days. Sachin will always better than any average player but I think he should follow Michael Jordan's example. To retire when you are still at your peak is a graceful way out rather than others making that decision for you.

No player deserves a place in the team just because he is popular. If his form is consistently not good enough, he must be dropped..and Sachin is no different. It would be controversial, but it would be necessary.
