There are a couple of them that I really love. But that all matters to each persons taste I guess. So here are my recommendations and maybe you can find them on you tube to preview. First one is DNAngel, comedy romance and a really great story line besides all that. I even went out and bought the soundtrack for two of the songs alone. One of the songs for the anime was performed by the japanese voice actor for Crad.
Another that I really enjoy is Fruits Basket. Has a great story..comedy and romance. I only wish these two anime's had gone on longer. Seems the manga go further for the most part than the series. But if you are looking for something with romance comedy and a darker story line to boot..these won't be for you i think. Very little in common with Inuyasha style work. But very good anyway. Hope this helps

In My opinion Inuyasha is the best, The love story/ triangle between Him, kagome and keikyo is very good and well scripted. I have never heard of some of the titles that you have listed. Im going to do a search and see what they are about. I ordered the Full metal movie shortly after the last episode was shown. It was good, but I was hoping for a little more, I was truly sad to see it end. My guess is Inuyasha belongs more in the action Genre than romance, yet it does have romance entwined into the story.

Well well well..lemme think....
Love Hina (lots of comedy with romance)
Honey and Clover(comedy and romance)
Ranma 1/2 (full Comedy)
Ouran High school Host club ( Lots of comedy with romance)
D N angel ( dark story line..but good romance too)
Peach Girl( not a lot of comedy but loads of romance)
Marmalade Boy.
Fruits Basket
Kodomo no omocha
Kare Kano
The list goes on...but seriously there was nothin like Inu yasha...it opened the world of anime to me..its still one of my favorites and the story line still haunts me.
What i can suggest u is that go to wikipedia and type the names they give u spoilers which might help u to chose which one u like...that is what i do.
i hope i helped!

Try Ai Yori Aoshi and Ah! My Goddess.
Also, you can look for recommendations at http://www.anime-planet.com/animerec/. I found some good choices on there.
