You are right, a light pink would look the best. I have similar colouring as you, and that's what I use...it looks really fresh and natural. Have fun :)

Mac do a really lovely light pink blusher which I use. I have very pale skin and a darker one just looks too much. Use a highlighter cream above the blusher on the cheekbone to give more definition.

Benetint by Benefit. It is a liquid blusher and therefore blends into any skin colour. A bit more expensive than your average blusher but it lasts for ages. I've had mine nearly a year and still have half a bottle.

Hi I also have very pale skin so I use Macs blusher in colour Tenderline. It cost around £13.00 but is long lasting and very good if you suffer from outbreaks in the cheek area.

i think you can change your blusher depending on what your other make up is - if i am wearing earth tones on my eyes then i like to wear a bronzing blusher - if i am wearing bright colours, like blues or pinks - then i like a pink -
the best blushers I find are the ones where they have a few colours that you swirl together. i love one by smashbox - the dark colours are great for evenings and the lighter ones for daytime.

A peach or apricot colour blush would go welll with your skin tone as it suits almost all complexions. It gives off the look you get just after going for a run.
