do you use one that you apply with your fingers or with cotton wool? As I use nivea which I apply with my fingers, but find it a bit greasy but my skin gets quite dry and im not sure if a thinner moisturiser like a bottle one would work aswell? Also is the body shops vitamin e moisturiser good? thanks

Instead of splurgin on products that ure not sure of,( coz some can be rather pricey ), why not consult ur beautician , they are specialists and can tell u wot ur skin needs.U wudnt want to use ur face as a "test palette" wud u? Besides, u dont even know if perhaps any of the products wud irritate ur skin even more.U cud end up havin breakouts if the moisturizer is too rich, and skin peelin if it isnt rich enuf.Only a beautician can recommend u a good product as they "know" the type of lotion u may need, coz they see ur face up close & personal.I used to experiement wid my face wid different types of stuff, nothin works till i consult my beautician,it may cost a bit initially but wots the price to pay when ure gettin the right things for ur face ( the most important thing , n the 1st thing ppl see )But in the long run,ure the one that is gainin from it & no one else.I still have bottles of "nonsense" that i've experimented wid...what a waste of money & time. I cant recommend u a brand that wud be good for u coz i cant tell wot kinda skin u have. What works for me,might not work for u.Hope i helped.

please dont touch clinique - its terrible stuff - dont know why people use it - the best ones are

Budget - Simple Moisturiser
High Street - Elizabeth Arden - Plump Perfect/Ceramide
Luxury - Crem De La Mer

I have the latter two - I use the Arden every morning and night - and twice a week I use the La Mer - It is VERY expensive but a small pot will last forever - and its very worthwhile!

but if you cant afford these then Simple is very good.

Finding a moisturise is like defining your taste in music - you have to try alot before you find the perfect one and over time your style can change. Everyone is different and the best thing to do is to go round and get some samples to find out what you are best suited to.

Good Luck

I don't use any. I use organic rosehip oil which I bought at the health shop. I only use of few drops and then massage into moist skin. My skin absorbs it very quickly and despite it being an oil, my skin is never greasy or shiny. Moisturizing creams always made me shine. Rosehip also heals scars much better than anything in a tube.

i had try the two that u name,i find them very greasy and does not help the dry area.i think is about what type of skin u are and also what age u are,i say estee laurder for 25 or over, skin refresh is so good,it help to smooth u skin in any type.for 25 or under boots is a good opion.and if ur skin is the dry type, try to look for something that can give u more water in ur skin.and drink more water

lets see, I have it in my bag somewhere. Oh yeah, Vitanique. Great stuff and only costs 1,5 euro a jar! I apply it with my fingers.

I use Clinique's "1,2,3" step moisturiser. I apply it with my fingers.

I think with all moisturisers you will get that "greasy" feeling.

Any from a good brand.
The Body Shop ones are amazing.
They are not too costly either.
