Yes I do.
However, and this answers all the paradox problems of going back and killing your grandfather and the reason we don't see time travellers from the future already here etc., I don't think we'll be able to travel back any further than the point we went forwards from.
I think we'll be able to travel forwards into the future as far as we want, and travel back again to the point we left from, but no further back than that. So for example, if I travelled forwards in time say 100 years from now, to 13:04 March 8th 2107, I could never travel back to any point before 13:04 March 8th 2007.
I think this'll be because the past has already happened, we cannot change that under any circumstances, but the future has not yet occurred so we could go forwards into any number of different futures and change things.
One thing we may find though is that if we went forwards to the same time on two different occasions, the second future time things may not be the same as it was (will be ?) the first time we experience it. Confused? So am I !

I'm not sure about going backwards, but I'm definitely sure we can go forwards. I'm not sure time is actually a definitive dimension, sometimes I think it's just human perception created by memory and 3-d space.
Time dilation is where you travel really fast and the faster you travel, the more space-time distorts, and you slow down time for your frame of reference. So if you traveled at the speed of light for about 10 years, hundreds of years would have already passed even though you only aged about ten.
In terms of traveling backwards, I find it hard to imagine or believe. In math you learn about things called asymptotes, where the exponent keeps increasing and increasing but eventually gets to a point where it just keeps increasing infinitely and creates a sort of vertical limit. So you may be able to slow down time to the point where it is soooo slow that it will almost be like freezing time, but to go out to the point where time becomes negative and you travel backwards...I'm not sure. We'll have to find out sooner or later. They are in fact experimenting with mini black holes and particle accelerators .

Time travel is possible only when a person travells faster than light or atleast nears the speed oflight. If he travells faster than light then he can go to the past.If he approaches the speed of light then he travells to the future(practically).Assume you are travelling at 96 % the speed of light for two days in a space craft. When you return to earth, you would have found that 20 years have gone past since you left.So you have travelled to the future.Since travelling at the speed of light is impossible ( time freezes ) , it is impossible that you can travell faster than in.For example, you want to reach 60 kmph, you have to cross 56 kmph to reach 60 kmph . This may be one of the reasons why people from the future don't turn up in our time.

If I'm going to travel at that level of technology, I want to travel through infinity and BEYOND ! Not backwards or forwards, just now ! I would like to know who or what else is out there besides us. We would be ignorant to think we are the only "planet" with life.

ok if we went back in time we couldnt get back! because going back in time erases you being in the future at that moment. there fore if u went back and changed one lil thing the whole world would be completely altered to the point you might not even exist anymore. now in all actuality time travel is kinda possible. you see there are these worm holes about as big as this "o" and finding one and squeezing through it would take you to a different point in time. but if u really wanted to get fun then, if we could, we could put a mirror on a distant planet and about 1 million years from now the people in the future could see us in the past because it takes that lo ng for the light and image to hit a mirror and reflect back to us. so i guess there are ways to see the past but we cant really travel back in time or we would or could destroy everything. :)

No. If it was ever going to be possible for humans to travel in time, surely we'd be seeing people from the future wandering round in the present by now.

Yes, but it will take several hundred years for mankind to evolve above the 4th dimension. One challenge is that we will have to develop a feel for the 5th dimension (what ever that is).
Once we are no longer limited by our thinking , then time will not be a barrier to us.

It will never happen because of the dangers involved. If we ever get close, someone will come back in time from the future to stop us. LOL
