It sounds like you might be infected with spyware and possibly a virus. Scan you system with an Anti-Spyware and an Anti-Virus, check your startup programs and disable what you do not need. Run ccleaner to verify your registry is in tip top shape, defrag your hard drive and you may want to get some canned air and dust the inside of your system. While in there make sure all your cards are seated in tightly and all cables connected tightly.

I think you have a virus, i would download AVG, and do a scan, if that works then fine, i would also download Registy Restore, and it will work to restore all problems with the PC and the regisrty.
It sorted out my computer, when i did this, i would also consult your Bandwidth to find out your download speed.
