ie, you are a friend/relative of xxx, who happens to be a friend/relative of yyy, who's linked to zzz, and so on until it reachs everyone. could this be true or is it proven?

while i seriously believe this is possible, i doubt its possible that everyone is connected by just 6 degrees away. imagine you're a brazilian for example, how can you know everyone in this world by just 6 degrees away? it should be more than that.

the fact is there is no 6 degrees of separation that holds true for everyone. Although it probably exists in many cases.
