16 INCHES!!!!!!!! HUGE!! how on earth are you supposed to walk in those!!!

well it all depends on the size of a person's foot, the hell can be only as long as the foot is otherwise .. wel your foot it vertical.. for instance..a 4 inch heel on a person with a very small foot would put the foot at the same angle as a 6 inch heel on a person with a larger foot.. the larger (longer) the foot is the higher the heel can be
the largest i have seen personally is an 8 inch heel.. looked painfull o.O

Most shops, catalogs or websites have a good selection of heel heights up to 4" and a few at 4 1/2"- 5". Fetish shops have heels up to 10" or more that make you walk on your tiptoes, and so they're called ballet shoes.

not sure of how many inches they were but Elton John's Dr. Martins in the video for pinball wizard were huge, measured in feet not inches!!!
