The first Warcraft games are different RTS games, World of Warcraft and Burning Crusade are the same MMORPG. (Burning Crusade is just WoW's first expansion.)

Storywise, they're all the same world, covering about a 30-40 year span. There's been some "modifications" to retcon the story to match up (since there's a few inconsistencies), but overall, it's supposed to be one continuous timeline.

well the burning crusade can be looked at as a "patch" or upgrade for world of warcraft, not an entirely different game. And i think reign of chaos is a different game to them..made by the same people though.. if i am correct reign of chaos you join games and play them, but in WoW you are a character in an online world sorta thing. i hope i helped you..if not .. sorry

Well the Burning Crusade is set after the events in the Reign of Choas anf Frozen Throne games. It is in essence just one big "patch" but there's a lot more content than the standard patch would have. You essentially play one part in a big battle.
