We want more children, the only thing that is scarring me is having another c section. Im terrified of having a rupture. My last 2 c sections were emergencys because i had pre eclampsia and ive heard some really scarry things since i had my first 2. I know i should have waited 2 years but it happened and im worried.

They say you can have 3 c sections, but no more.

I had 2 c sections too, one was emergency, classic cut, the 2nd was a bikini cut. I wouldn't chance having another, so I got my tubes tied with my 2nd c-section. I did however have children before the c sections that were vaginal delivery (and 14 years earlier).

You should talk to your doctor. Use extreme caution not to get pregnant again to soon, let your body heal.

look i am a mother of 4 and 1 c section which was my 1st prgnancy. and all other were natural birth. i think that people feel the need Doc's and somtimes friends to give you allllll the info but your chances are probably slim providing you take very good care of yourself. use some sort of birth controll to let your body heal itself give it timeto get back to where it should be for another child. not only that from someone who knows its much easier when your child is a bit older before you bring in a nohter child..... my 1st 2 were 5yrs BUT my last 2 are 2yrs apart and i wish to god i would have waited like the first 2.... good luck i wish the best for you...... OH AND IF DAD wants more make sure he knows you need healing time and he should be 1st to step up to take the load off....

It is reccommended that a woman should not have no more than 3 c-sections in a lifetime.
However i read in the Guinness book of world records that this mom in the united states (i wanna think ohio) had all 11 of her kids by c-section and done fine. You could proably look that up on the net.
Good luck

Him, I know that you can only have one more...Have you tried to ask your doctor how you can prevent another C-Section, even though I'm sure that's not possible.
Maybe wait a bit to have another and see if that can prevent future problems.

Ever consider adoption? thousands of children wait for loving homes. And you wouldn't be risking your health/life.

if you have the money and time for a third. kids need attention. if they grow up without having that they can really be messed up...

just wait it off.

risk of rupture is actually higher if you are induced and receiving pitocin.
