It all depends on the state you live in and their laws. But if he refuses a psychological evaluation and the mother takes one that does not look flavorable on him and might just cause him custody.

I think it depends where you live. Where I live, the evaluation is part of the assessment. And the assessment is something that the lawyers can use as a tool to change the custody situation. Does mom have temporary custody? Do the children live with mom?

Nope infact even a judge can't order one without cause of action.
Being arrested is cause of action.

But if your asking perhapses you might use someone to talk to to help with setting your mind at ease.

Why would he? Unless there is evidence that he is an abusive parent, he shouldn't lose his parental rights.
