If I could just say, please only pick one- female or/either male.
'it depends', 'both', 'it is hard to say' answers may defeat the purpose of this intention.
Thank you.

Emotions like love, hate, fear etc. should be non-inclusive in this question. I just want to see your opinion in an objective perspective. Personal influences should not be considered, please.

This question all boils down to the passing of words from the greatest ruler of them all. Who is it? Which ruler should we bow down to and take his words to follow through?
Though we're living in the modern-day era where equality of women speaks if not even greater of importance than that of men's, God ruled in the Bible's book of genesis that by telling Eve:'your desire will be your husband's, and he will rule over you'.
Family is the basic core of society, by which every single organization in a community is placed as a paradigm. There is a ruler, and subordinates.

Ever since the bible was written males have had an increased role in society. The idea that any one gender should "always" rule over every facet is simply ridiculous. However, if one were to break down the pros and cons for each they would find, in my humble opinion, that the traditional way of ruling is better. I say this because the society has changed to a male dominated society and if women were suddenly put in charge the paradigm would not be able to handle the shift.

Well firstly if you look at various different cultures are society's around the world, you will see one thing they all have in common. None are ruled completely by men or women, both sexes have different roles that they are better at doing. It has been that since the dawn of time. Men were the hunters gatherers, women looked after the children, stayed at the camp. This behaviour from very early humans has shaped the human race that we know now. Men have different qualities to women and neither sex can rule everything, males need the females and females need males. That is just the way the world works. If you look at the work of most anthropologist it will back up what I am saying
i just want to add that the reason why men have had control over most things in history is because in the begining females have been to busy caring for the children. Raising children takes up an large amount of a womens time and energy. Men on the other hand had much more time on their hands this enables them to come together and make up ways to control their societies. And that is the reason why men have had more control in the past.
If you are looking for more info about the sexes read, Men are from New York, Women are from Philadelphia

Historically, in most societies males have exercised the most power in social and political units from the state down to the family. This violates the principle that all humans should have equal rights.
In the nineteenth and twentieth century there were major campaigns for female equality. One prominent male writer to concern himself in this campaign was George Bernard Shaw, and you could look up his work.
Some feminists have seemed to take the line that females should exercise the power in relationships. This is as inappropriate as male domination.
Psychologists (I am a psychology graduate but not working as such) will tell you that social relationships essentially involve power. If two people decide to go out for the evening, one wants to go to the cinema and one to the disco, which they do reflects an exercise of power. And this relates also to more serious issues such as what house the family should buy. What is important, however, is that such decisions should be taken in the context of respect between people regarded as equals, rather than one individual, or a selection of individuals, dominating simply because of their physical sex.

The history of Western civilization is an example of the rule of males where women were usually in the second plan, discriminated, excluded form the decision making processes including not only social an political but also their personal lives. Even their own bodies. The rights women obtained today are not given to them thanks to someone's mercy. Women had to fight for them for centuries, and they did it for equality, not to become another rulers.
So no gender should rule. We are individuals and I guess you would not accept anyone to rule your personal life, except yourself.
Or you would. You can accept another person to rule your life, for example, just because he is a man. You can ask him for every decision you want to make and you can accept every his suggestion, just because he is a man, no matter are his suggestions good for you or not. But you are still free to ask yourself is it really good for you. If your answer is yes, again, this is YOU who decided, not him.
Concerning the community life, there should exist the rule of laws that all members of the community find acceptable and best for realization their personal happiness. The main principles of living in such a community should be solidarity, tolerance and respecting the freedoms and rights of others , the same as you are expecting them to respect yours.

Well if you look back into the Old Testament in the Bible it says that man shall be the head of the household. Woman should obey her husband, but like i said Old Testament, and now a days well that just doesn't work anymore, because woman are just as free, smart, aggresive as men to do just about anything that a man does, as for my household my opinion is just as valueable as my husbands. He doesn't stand over me . He stands beside me.

First off, if either one were meant to rule always, only one would have been created. However, to contribute to your debate, I do believe that women are better equipped to make better decisions in the areas that you have mentioned above. Whereas men maybe able to make better decisions in some areas, overall women make better decisions on a wider scale.

This is a nonsensical question. Gender doesn't "rule" anything. In a loving, mature, adult relationship, both partners contribute and share. No one rules.

No one should ever be ruled. Unless of course you are a child. But that is also not ruled, that is parenting.
We live by rules, and regulations, the constitution of the U.S.A., we are a democratic country.

Only women should be allowed to decide if wars are going to be fought, because women are the ones who bring the children who will die into the world.
