You honestly already know the answer to this--No you can not have an alcoholic drink, but you can have other celebratory drinks.

Sorry. If you give it up for lent, you give it up for the whole time... no exceptions. My friend was asking me the same thing the other day. Lol. Ironic.

only non-alcoholic drinks, you can't have anything that you gave up for Lent until Easter (when lenten is over)..as a side note- that is why we have chocolate and candy at easter, because many catholics give up sweets for lent
