who will decide what a woman should wear she herself,her parents or society?

As you have read- It is up to the woman in this country at least. Society and parents have all had their input into a woman's dress code but it all boils down to what the gal feels comfortable in and can afford.
My mom was always after me to ditch the jeans,sweatshirts, & tees, then fashion folks were saying how bad they were, then they switched their thoughts on it, then switched back and forth several times, even friends had their two cents added. I am almost 62 yrs. old and jeans, tees & sweats are still a mainstay for me but I do have some great clothes for special wear.
I kept my own council.

If the "woman" that you are talking about is a minor, living at home, under her parents (or guardians) roof, then I say that the parents have the final say, period.

If the "woman" is not under the control of her parents, than she should decide what she wants to wear - but most times, that will be influenced by society and designers.

I have a feeling though, that this is being asked by a minor, whose parents object to her choice of clothing ?

Who will decide? The woman herself. But its influanced by society and i believe society can be much stronger than especially parents, but when it really comes down to it the woman herself has to decide

Women for the most part, choose what they want to wear. There are influences such as fashion, popularity etc. There are societies that dictate what women wear, but it is usually where religion plays a huge role in the society. I have never met a woman that "let" anyone tell her what to wear, and I am one of them!

She should make her own decision. It's her life and if she feels good about herself that's all that matters.
