Yes to an extant it present a negative picture of youth of india which inspite of having oppurtunity for higher education in metro cites & all money indulges in drugs & drinks . Actually the youth is becoming very indulgent with a word "enjoy" They just feel that the goal in life is just enjoyment & nothing else . This is the result of lack of moral values ,the effect of glamour & lack of inhibitions .

It is not a negative picture of the youth today.
How can 270 people who were involved in a rave party be taken as representatives of today's youth?
There are so many NGO's run by college students, IT professionals serving the poor. So, we cannot completely say that the entire youth of today is on the wrong path.
I am a youth only -- I don't drink, I don't smoke.
May be a few portion of them definitely are, but not the entire youth community.

this cannot present a negative picture of our youth today, because its a very very small percentage of our youth which was involved in Pune. but yes, maybe its acted as a wake-up call for many parents & families. we have certainly become aware of what all is available in our country today. we all know that its very easy to get disheartened by circumstances, get depressed by situations & maybe youth are more susceptible to all this. but then its also an age where they like to experiment with various intoxicants, so they need a lot of understanding, support & love from all of us. this is their call for attention
