One description I remember from a class I took many years ago was that time was like a spring that was big on both ends, funnel shaped to the middle, constantly bouncing. And that Dejavu was when the springs of time touched at some point, allowing you to see into the future.

What is your description of TIME?

Time is a dimension used to measure movement in a chronological order, unlike the other dimensions which are used to measure distance.

Dejavu is the rapid repeating of memory into the concious from the storage location to give the perception of knowing something was about to happen when it is being recorded and oriented in the brain.

all time is is a measure of change. people tend to make it more complicated then it really is. it is one of the 4 dimensions that we exist in and theoretically the only way u can escape it is by going the speed of light. a year, second minute, etc is only one way that humans percieve this measure of change (a very good way albeit). afterall, time exists outside of our solar system (the s.s. is the only place our year, minute, sec, etc exists) because things still change there
