Its realy hot in West australia right now,its been late 30s early 40s,i am gothic,(not emo,emo is completely different)
i usualy wear something like:
long skirts or short skirt with leggings
fishnet shirt under a random tee or nice top
then a pvc corsette over that
along with knee high platform boots
then at least 2 spike bands on each arm
and a spikey collar....
oh also while carrying a parasol to stop the sun from gettin me....

now i want to keep that "wat the **** is she wearing?" effect going, but without dying of heat...
any ideas?
even if u think its a stupid idea,it may juz be the one i need.

My husband used to work on Burning Man, which is in the middle of the desert in hideously high heat. He said that he wore several layers of clothing, so that the top layer reflected or absorbed most of the heat, while the other layers worked as isolation. If you do this, the air surrounding you will be at your normal body heat, which is pretty high, but it won't get any worse than that.

Try and find some platform sandals (there are some cute ones out their) since much of your body heat is released through your feet. Also, ditch the leggings, wear fishnets instead. The parasol is a great idea.

Its must be horrendout the last couple of days in Perth, three days of 42 degrees. Do you hang outside the Post Office in Perth? Anyway you can get really cool short sleeve black Goth dresses from a shop near the Pickled Fairy Shop in fremantle.

avoid sleeves,if your wearing tights don't wear thick ones, carry a black sunbrella to avoid sun expoure espeically from exposed areas.

by the way, I always liked the goth look, so **** any critisisms other people might post.
