politics has always attracted a bunch of scoundrels, so to speak. It seems to be the nature of the beast which is why it is so important for citizens to know about their own candidates and VOTE!

By insisting and voting for representatives who will insist that each and every corrupt government official be charged, tried and if found guilty, imprisoned for a long time. Violating the public trust is, in my mind, a form of treason.
Some people say I am a cynic but I assume any person who is attempting to gain high government office is corrupt. It may be wrong but in light of the record, it is a safer assumption than that they are honest. Assume guilt by association with politicians and let the prove otherwise.
