The toolbar can be removed by going to Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, find it on the list, click it, chose the option to remove. It may tell you to restart your computer and if it does go ahead and restart it. The toolbar does not carry any vital files with it so it should not affect your other programs and files.

Do as above ... but yahoo toolbar doesnt take up much space at all -- try going to 'add remove programs' in control panel ... when you opened this select the option view by size and you will see the largest programs, you may want to remove one of these if you can as it will free up alot more space
