It's too soon to tell. The teams are not made yet. My favorites certainly are France and Germany, but I'm quite afraid France will not make it. During the last world cup you saw how their games fate was sealed depending only on one player: Zidane. You could really see how their game improved depending on his presence on the field or not. The only hope is that they find a suitable captain. Maybe Ribery will be up to this by the time of the next world cup.
I also think that the African teams could make it if they get a good training. They really were impressive during the last world cup. But you could notice, that their attacks were flawed. Often an attacker would find himself alone in front of the goal and don't know what to do. If the improve their attacks, they have really a fair chance.
