Yes, if it were written as a series (think Dragon Rider; Harry Potter; something like that). It would probably be even more interesting since there are nuances that are difficult to convey on film.

I think it would be harder to follow if it were a book but I would read it.

no, becoz they don't even know the ending so it would make for a pretty terrible book
