Its kinda made for a loud rock song.

(Intro): "This War ends tonight!"

(verse1) "Drifting through the days
My life in some kinda haze
Is this a phase?
Is this a maze?
Where do I go from here?
How do I release my fear?
I hear you calling me near
So I will declare

(Chorus) This is the last day
That I feel this way
This is the last night
That I fight this fight
This is the night
This war ends tonight

(Verse2) This is the call
To end it all
The death of my hypocrisy
Call it my apostacy

(Chorus) This is the last day
That I feel this way
This is the last night
That I fight this fight
I close my eyes and finally see bright
I become blind and finally have sight
So take me and hold me tight
This war ends tonight

Hi. I like the song.

I think it is about your fight with yourself, and the "world", vs. yourself as a Christian.

You are wanting to continue to do "wordly" things, but your heart and mind cant take it, because you know it's not right.

p.s. I sing in a Christian Rock Band, and also write music.

well this song is about death . it seems most likely to be either about suicide or homicide. however it could have the slight potential to be about natural death but seldom does a person know they will die that night. soon but not that night.

i think this song certainly rhymes well but i think the topic is too gloomy and the words to simply . not meaning use bigger words just more variety of words. so i suppose i mean repetitive.
now if you could write a song along similar lines but as many songs are stories change the story so at the end the person does not die changes his mind finds peace or love or something then lives and you have some bits about joy then you might have a song that would be good.
that's my take on it no hold barred.

i like this song and the way it is written. I think this song is about the demons within a person and a person becomes truly free of those demons the day a higher power returns to redeem us or we end it all ourselves or we die. It has to do with death to finally release the demons in us-peace will come to us after this.
