hi !! there are numerous things that ail indian football thus owing to our low ranking. in a country which worships cricket, football recedes into the background & the youth don't feel motivated to play the game.parents are more than ready to send their kids to cricket coaching camps;how many parents want their kids to play soccer??moreover, soccer,a physical body contact game involves the risk of shin, groin, knee injuries. there are too few training academies.just one ''TFA'' in jharkhand is not enough;we need more . nursery leagues have to be prioritized to track talents from the grassroot level. we need an able administrator like mr.dalmiya;mr.prioranjan dasmunshi is a politician & therefore rather indifferent to football:the AIFF needs a full-timer,don't you think?? also, our boys have lean physical constitution & the tropical climate adds to our woes !! infrastructure has to develop & soccer has to be packaged smartly, just cheerleaders dance won't help the cause. cheers & god bless:-)
