Well, I would not because relationships will be strained and to me it's just not worth it. But that's just me. You need to work out what is more important to you and don't worry, your parents will still treat you as a daughter no matter what.

Whew.
Well, I am a mother with children. I also come from a broken home with "step" siblings. The question you have posed is a matter of morality and beliefs.
IF you believe in what the Bible says, you should not have any kind of "unappropriate" relationship with your brother, whether or not he is "blood". Many cases in history have cited this very same predicament, and nothing good has ever came out from it.
As for me, I would NOT approve of this relationship from any stand point. There are many people you could catch their eye with, and they don't have to be your own brother. Plus, what you are "feeling" could be a small crush, and not LOVE love. This could also be normal if you do not see the brother on a daily basis, or do not live in the same home. It still does not make it right though.
Honey, find someone else. You don't want to alienate your parents, as you will need them your whole life. Trust what they are telling you, however much you don't like it. The bible also says that if we obey our parents, we will live a longer life.
God bless you, I hope this helps.

I think it depends how long your parents have been together and if you've grown up together. I would remember though that relationships end and that losing your parents might not be worth it. At the end of the day though only you know whats in your heart. Good Luck.

I'm guessint that either your mother or your father remarried and this step-brother is one of their sons?
How can they disapprove, you two just see something in each other, a personality trait, that has been derived from your parents, who also see it in each other.
Did that make any sense at all?

I'd go with it .. What's the harm .. I think your parents have concerns incase it doesn't work out and therefore will complicate things within the whole family !

I think its not a good idea. Even if he's not your blood brother he is still your brother.

I'm going with no. If and or when you break up, you'll never be free of him, every family thing, his mug. It depends on your age, if not adult then no way no how. If grown, good luck with that, but I think you should exhaust all other options before this one.
