Isn't that the point of Yahoo Answers? We choose the answer that best resolves the question so that the asker will be enlightened by our choice - otherwise what is the point in answering the questions?

I have been given this 'accolade', and in common with many others I don't like it. I hope people continue to make a genuine selection for Best Answer, based on how helpful the answer has been. The whole concept of grading by points is also flawed. If you just want to collect points, you give one word answers, your repeat answers which have already been given, and you vote your own anser the best. Selection of Best Answer by voting and being allowed to vote for your own answer are both unsatisfactory. If the person asking a question chooses 'No Best Answer', that should be final. I am surprised you can vote your own answer the best (and I don't mean by using multiple profiles), though sensibly you cannot give yourself a thumbs up.

Yeah I agree that extra thumbs up in many situations skill a extra perfect answer. I see Askers determining on awful solutions each and all the time, and it bugs me. BTW, somebody above stated which you don't get any factors from thumbs up yet it particularly is no longer continuously authentic. in the journey that your answer is chosen as maximum suitable answer, you get 10 factors PLUS one element for each thumbs up.

I thought there was something wrong with my computer seeing it every were today what it all about oh i see so it give use a chance to now who genuine ,, yes i think it will give every one more of a choose now ...
