when im on,line it disconects after so long...

First check your own disconnect settings.

If those are ok, you can google for a 'keep alive' program that helps keep you connection alive and well.

This might be the right thing as some providers stop counting time while you are "within" a program as non-activity, and shut you down.

Of course (here comes the plug) cable internet is always available!!!

hi Daddy, let me show you how to disable "auto disconnecting you after of certain amount of time idling". Open your IE, click Tools, select Internet Options, select Connections, select Settings, click Advanced, uncheck the box says "Disconnect idle for xx " , OK, OK to exit out. That should help.
