First of all, why do you ask a question? It is because you think. Right? Thinking gives rise to questions. Mind requires answers to its questions. It postpones action in favour of thinking. You think because you dare not act, being fearful of consequences that may arise of the proposed action. Your thinking is indicative of the fact that you want to play safe. You think before you act. And the resulting action is the product of fear. Fear causes you to think and when you are fearful you ask this question or for that matter any question. Asking questions is also sign of your lack of will or energy to find answers for yourself. You want to sort out matters at the earliest by asking questions, you want ready made answers from others, you dont take pains to investigate on your own, to delve deep into the source where the question has arisen, and to catch it raw at the source, so that it doesnt get complicated in passing out to others.

In fact, no answer from outside can satisfy my question, unless it is backed by my own understanding of the question itself. If the question can be caught and understood at the point of its emergence, then there would be no question of thinking of asking this or that question. All questions are cowardice and answers provide more security to the question. The tendency should be to attack the question and eliminate it altogether to prevent it from enlarging its base, but answers keep it alive, it nourishes the question, gives foundation and gives scope to further questions endlessly, and as long as there are questions, the mind functions, and no peace to it, energy goes down the drain. Question-Answer sessions become substiutes for actions, which is entirely the game of the fearful mind, which always thinks before taking a leap.

When you need to know the answer, you have to ask the question. It's to confirm your thoughts or to clear your confusion.
