hi there, im looking for a body kit for my boyfriends car (for his birthday) I was wondering what would be the best kit to buy, I dont want one too low as it is already lowered, also im going in for my test soon and i would feel more comfortable if i did'nt have to dodge every bump in the road. I know because its lowered it will be low anyway, but i was just wondering If anyone could suggest a kit that's not too low.

He currently only has the rear bodykit bumper because the rest of it got stolen and he was looking for the rest of the parts on ebay.
one last question...does the kit need to match? He was looking for parts on ebay that were different to the rear bumper, does that matter? am I better just buying the whole kit?

Thanks

To be fair, have you looked at the cost? They're not cheap to buy a decent one.
If you're going to buy one, go for a kit from either Steinmetz or Irmscher. These are approved GM / Vauxhall guys (you can actually get the stuff from vauxhall dealers) and rather than being crummy fibreglass it's proper Polyurethane, so it bends rather than splits. They are also rather tasty as opposed to the godawful fibreglass crap you see with acres of mesh fallingout of them.

You're looking at about £200 for a front or rear bumper, £150 for skirts, £150 for a spoiler, Now double each fgure to have it painted and fitted. Don;t be fooled into getting a fibreglass one, they'll split as before you can say "cheap bodykit"

Hi, there are lots of kits for the Corsa B, as I am sure you know, but it's hard to say as every guy has different taste and style, have a look at what he has seen and liked then you will get to know the style of body kit your boyfriend likes, usually go for the full kit, as a mix and match of a few styles can end up looking ugly.
I would really suggest you let him pick, then it's the style he wants and less worry for you thinking will he or won't he like it.

Glamming up a Corsa is a bit chavish imo.

How much would it cost to buy the kit and install (time/diy or professionally) I wonder. Are you sure its really worth it for a bit of eye candy extra on a Corsa ? I'm honestly not being anti-social with my reply... but all cars need repairs and can cost a lot to maintain..... I'm not sure its money well spent for a Corsa which might at anytime need a costly repair.

I advise keeping the money towards a new car, or towards a 2nd car, or a weekend/week holiday for you both.

However to try and help: (I'm not sure which is "too low" as its already been lowered)
