What benefit can you get from the wishing well of the sims 2 seasons?

What kind of wishes can you ask and how does it work? Does it have a negative effect like aspiration rewards or does it give you all your wish? Does this wishing well also disregard some wishes?

Hi, I know that you can wish for money at the wishing well ... it's possibly shown on on the designer walkthrough video on the main EA Sims 2 site ... I've also read somewhere that you shouldn't wish too often at the same wishing well - it has bad consequences ... I'm just searching for where I read that & I will add the link for you.

It's in the spoilers section - so you might not want to read all of it - in which case, here's what it says about the wishing well:

"The wishing well can only be obtained by having a garden club inspection and receiving a high score. You can then wish for romance, friends or money, but using the same well repeatedly over 24 hours increases your chances of the wish going "bad". If you wish for money you get §1000 Simoleans, but if it goes bad you get §50 and it hits you on the head. Romance you get a Sim of the right age and gender and an automatic first kiss...but beware if someone you are already involved with is already on the lot! Also, if that one goes bad Mrs. Crumplebottom climbs from the well ala the Ring and beats you with her purse! Wish for friends and you get three, but if that goes bad they stand around and fight. You can have several wells on your lot though and use a different one each time, as long as you do it only once in 24 hours you are guaranteed a good wish. "

There is also a cheat to get the wishing well, that way you dont have to kill yourself to get a perfect score with the garden club...here it is...TO GET A WISHING WELL: in the neighborhood bring up the box to type in a cheat code(hold shift, ctrl and press the letter C), then type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true....then go into the house you want, press shift and then click on a sim and click on spawn, then keep clicking MORE until you see wishing well and when you click on it, it will add a wishing well to your lot. It will put it wherever your sim is standing so if you want to move it, just go into the buy mode and you can move it. You can wish for money, a relationship or friends, there may be others but thats the only options ive gotten with mine so far. You can get negative effects so be careful when you make the wishes that they are in a really good mood and there aspiration level is up. Have fun!!
