We can all sit back and let nature take its course.

Well, since scientist still do not know what caused:
The general warming in Europe starting in the late Dark Ages.
or
What caused the Lil Ice Age that started in the 1300's
or
What caused the Lil Ice Age to end in the late 19th century
Maybe we should just wait a few years till the next Lil Ice Age hits.

Rising CO2 is caused by humans digging up fossil fuels (which are just old plants and trees which have been buried under the earth for millions of years) and burning them.
We have yet to find out how big a problem rising CO2 levels really are. There are ways to get the CO2 levels down again if that is a problem.
Put the carbon back underground where we got it. Harvest crops and burry the vegitation deep under the ground. The big problem is who should pay for it? The EU? the US? China? India? Saudi Arabia?

Well, if the UN's claim that the growing and processing of cattle and poultry contribute more to CO2 emission than cars, then you could go vegan.
Personally, I have no intention of doing that, but it does highlight that there is a misplaced agenda when it comes to global warming. People point to cars, but they really are not the main problem.

The consensus amongst scientists is that the majority of global warming is caused by humans. I do not think much can be done because people are unwilling to do anything, they think that if they deny it or point the finger at nature everything will get better, even though humans are primarily responsible, only a fraction of warming is caused by nature.

Global warming (caused by man) does not exist. The planet has been warming and cooling for 5 billion years, and will continie to do so long after we are gone. But you should still do what any responsible person should do: recycle, concerve energy where you can, and live your life. Just don't be sucked in to this global warming scare tactic that is spreading like an epidemic....

If none of the products you buy were made in the US, how dos shopping help the economy? It helps China, especially if you shop at WALMART.
I lived in a city for the lat few years and took public transportation everywhere. My car would sit for weeks on end.
But still does little.
Bet you can do is stp farting, methane is more dangerous than auo emissions

Wait it out, but I fear I will not be around to see the end of it.
The earth has the capacity by nature to adjust. It has gone through many "Ages" in the past and will continue to do so in the future. That does not necessarily mean that humans will not become extinct, possibly by their own doing.

walk, ride bike, or take bus, carpool, etc.
Hybrid cars aare a good idea but they are so trendy right now, thus expensive and they are not really worth it.
you would do more for the environment by giving your extra money to the nature conservancy and driving a basic economy car.

scientists are now saying that we might not have much to do with global warming, and that it could be largely blamed on the gaping hole on the ocean surface.
my opinion - the planet is going to replenish itself by destroying almost everything throwing us into an ice age... the movie 'world after tomorrow' is what i believe to happen, just worse....
basically you can do nothing, except to stop worrying
