i'm looking for a site that allows me to download a program where i can edit music for example just cut out most of the song and get just the chours.

Audacity is surely the best free music maker and is great for making music.
I got it for free here : http://bitly.com/WhupwcIt's perfect even for beginners because the software is really intuitive ad easy to use but at the same time it has really advanced functions for more experienced users.
It's a program that I definitely reccomend!

I use audacity a lot - it is very useful for transferring music from vinyl or cassettes to mp3

i downloaded one off limewire and it's brilliant for making ringtones ect.
mix craft
and it's pretty easy to use
