Yes. I want to work very hard for everyone else. I want money and food and possessions taken from me and redistributed to everyone, including those that are unwilling to work at all.

I want people to WANT to work for the global community, even though it means they get little to nothing in return.

Wait a minute... if you don't have to work to earn anything, then would anyone actually do anything? And how long before everyone stops working and then we're in total chaos and have to build a capitalistic society just to stay alive?

This is the kind of "deep" thinking required to attain an answer to this question.

That is clearly a pipe dream. Why should certain "citizens of the world" who work hard be punished, and other "citizens of the world" who don't work hard be given everything? Clearly the there is a big separation in the USA between the rich and the poor, but even the poor in the USA would live like kings in most other countries around the world.

No, We are NOT "Citizens of the World" and if you divide all the wealth among all he people you will have to give up a lot.
Of course the One Worlers in the Republican and Democratic Parties are well on the way but I don't see them giving up thier personal wealth.

Everyone should work and earn their keep. If we support this type of socialistic attitude, no one will want to work hard to become successful because it will all be taken away in taxes to support the lazy.
Of course, there are those that need help, such as the physically challenged and such, so in that case we should share the wealth, but not with any able bodied person who just does not want to work.

No, because it is not "the wealth of the world" - all wealth is created. It should not be taken from those who create it. You pretend that Bill Gates just sat there and had billions of dollars dropped on his doorstep. He went out and created something and the rest of us voluntarily gave him money in exchange of what he created. Nobody forced us to do that. What you propose is to forcibly take the money back - and still keep the operating systems, I'm sure...

Wealth isn't just resources, it's also the product of labor. Actually, it's mostly the product of labor and brainpower. So only laborers who create wealth should benefit from it, and that's pretty much the way it is already, except for the parasitic rich and poor.

I say this because there are millions who contribute nothing, and should not benefit at all.

A very idealistic, but reasonable question. Therein lies the difference in modern political ideologies. I must agree with you, but very few others do. The neo-capitalist notions do not allow for such talk. They call it...communism! Poor in spirit but rich in capital they are blinded by so many seemingly rationales of their own sophist syllogisms that they miss the central core question altogether.

Good question. I think its the way it should be but its not, unfortunately ! When ever I fly around the world and look down I notice there are no borders ! If the maker(regardless of ones beliefs ) did not place these walls than man did !
I believe we are all responsible for one another, and its in the end we'll all discover there is only one flag in His kingdom !

Maybe the oil producing countries can lead in that endeavor by giving out free oil. We in America, in turn, will stop having to shed our blood in the Middle East because of it.
