There are several rumors as to why Britney is going to rehab. None of her minions have confirmed or denied any of the following.
Theory # 1:
Kevin Federline told her if she doesn't go to rehab he was going to take the kids away and she would never see him again. As well, he also told her if she gave it a valid shot, he would consider reconciling with her. This theory is possible because he and the kids have been visiting her 2 or 3 times while she has been in there, even though she is miserable.
Theory # 2:
She tried to commit suicide twice before she entered rehab for the third time. Her mother drove her to the Promises center after she got out of the hospital after saying she was going to kill herself and after she went to K-Fed's house to see the kids.
Theory # 3:
She is hooked on drugs and alcohol. This is entirely possible because Jayson Alexander came out and said that they used to party REALLY hard and all night. As well, this explains her marriage to Jayson Alexander, though I'm sure we were all pretty convinced she was on crack that day.
Theory # 4:
There is an underlying issue to do with her drug/alcohol addiction. Alot of people are saying she has post-partum depression (not surprising) or bipolar disorder. If she does have bipolar disorder she has been hiding it quite well for the last few years. I think it is more than likely that she has post partum.
Again, discretion people, as these are only rumors and her publicists have denied the suicide attempts and claims, though have not confirmed nor denied any others.

Where are guys living she is in rehab the 3rd time is a charm,promises took her back pn her condition,no shore,privet meeting,room with body gaurd her matterss is 800 stiches...i guess what ever it takes i hope she stays sober,she remids me of what drew barrymore went throught but drew was only 16 or 17 untill david crosby the singer got hold of she lived with him in santa barabra she turned her live around she has been sober for at least 15 years i hope brittney looks at drew as an example

I think she's going just for a publicity stunt. I feel sorry for her kid's, they didn't ask for all this.What's up with her going out in public without pantie's? To me she wants attention! Gosh, what else could it be!!! She needs help alright, and not just rehab.

She needs psychiatric care as well as she is right off the deep end.

She needs help. That is obvious. Since having her babies and now a divorce, I think she is carrying a lot of emotional baggage that she needs to have checked.
