Jilly Cooper, Fiona Walker, Catherine Alliott, Jane Green, Marian Keyes, Sophie KInsella, Leslie Pearce .
Best thing to do is go into Amazon with an author title and see what else other people have ordered - also try Asda for some great, extremely cheap girlie reads.
Enjoy!!

Try Jodi Picoult. Not really chicklit - discusses serious issues - but usually has a happy ending and really well written so I think you'll enjoy her. My housemate (a chicklit addict) is now really into The Pact.
Honestly it's worth a read!

i agree with Sarah above Jodi Picoult is a fantastic writer and like she said Jodi isn't a girlie writer really but more tragic life kind of stuff but with happy endings. Ive read all of Jodi Picoults that i can get my hands on and haven't read a bad one yet.
