I was walking from my car to my office when I slipped and hurt my back pretty badly. I took the afternoon off to go see my chiropractor and her response was that, when I slipped I twisted my back so that there are muscle pains everywhere. What do I do in this situation? Do I need to fill out forms?

I don't think you can sue. Most parking lots are not considered personal property.

I work for a doctors office and we fill out wc papers all time of one falling on property.....you have to first report to human resources or your supervisor that you were hurt, they will turn this accident report in, then tell them you need to see a doctor,
I think the report has to be filled out within a certain time frame so should have been done following the accident or they can deny it. Also, most companys require a accident drug screen to be done.
After that your medicine is covered under the WC also.
This isn't called suing the company its called turning in a workers comp injury.

i don't know if you can sue.
i work for a retail company and when a customer gets hurt inside or outside our store i have to fill an accident report even when they say they are fine. The same goes for my employees. You should tell your boss what happened and they should send you to the company doctor. If you company doesn't have a doctor then usually there is a way for them to cover your medical. The only question for you is. Where you on the clock or not? if yes then they pay for you if no then you pay for your self.

No. That is an urban myth. America is famous for being the sue people but guess what, your not getting any money. You have to look out for yourself.
