I asked a woman for a date. I need some creativity. We are both thirty something and live in Los Angeles. Where is a good quiet place that we could talk and get to know eachother? Any ideas?

I need some place fun and inexpensive. We are going dutch treat and I don't want her to feel unfomfortable with the price. I also want a place that isn't trendy or written up on other websites.

If you want quiet and cheap, you're going to have leave the metro area. in Sherman Oaks there's a restaurant called Mazzarrino's. It's Italian and a very old restaurant. The food is outstanding, the prices are reasonable, and the ambience is good for a first date. They're on the corner of Riverside and Coldwater.

Good luck!

Ohh! Dutch is not a date. A gentle pays for a date.
If you want a cheap date, try Starbucks. You can talk until the stars fall out of the sky.
