That's a good question. It is obvious someone is influenced by "Slick Willy", and paid this numbnut the money he demanded for his speeches. It isn't what Bill Clinton said, it's the fact someone was willing enough to pay him to say something. What did he say in his after-dinner speeches? Surely not, "I have a dream". He probaly bragged about how got away with scamming the American people by getting NAFTA authorized.....

I would tailor my after dinner speech to the specific audience.

If for a fund raising charity event, I would give a speech that is different to the one I would give to an after dinner party organised by the local chamber of commerce.
