Yes, the period can be delayed by stress and anxiety. Stress in particular whether it is something good or bad that is causing the stress. I've had it happen to me a few times.

yes as hormones are a fine balanced thing and anything that upsets the balance can delay your period.
Its normally the second half of the cycle that gets delayed - the ovulation of the egg - the first stage the folicular stage is normally consistant.

Yes it can, if you have been stressed or to happy, it can be delayed. This is normal and it has happened to me before. It took me two months to come on becasue I was stressed.

Oh, yes indeed the menstrual cycle can be delayed by a few days or even weeks. That has happend to me on occasion!

Yes I have had my cycle change because of massive stress (moving to a new city). It can happen. Just make sure it's not pregnancy for sure - that will really mess everything up.

yes it can be delayed by lots of other reason too you need to rule out the pg thing first then go from there

defintely! its like when u think u may be pregnant it delays ur period! this month i thought i might be. i went to the family planning clinic for a test which was negative. the next day i came on!
