Mutanga Wildlife Sanctuary : houses Wild forests covering an area of 345 sq.kms Elephant, spotted deer, bison, tiger, cheetah, wild bear, etc. are found in this sanctuary.
Pookot Lake : has an area of 8.5ha.and the maximum water depth is 6.5mtrs.
Soochippara Waterfall : stretches of waterfalls ranging at places from 100 to 300 feet height are a treat to the eyes. The pool below provides for water rafting, swimming, bathing, etc.
Edakkal Cave : a cleft about 96 ft. long and 22 ft. wide in the rock. The rock wall inside the caves contains some interesting carvings, which represent human and animal figures and objects of human use and symbols.
Sulthan Bather : the hilly eastern gateway became famous after Tipu Sultan cleared the Jain Temple in the 14th century to make a room for ammunition dump.
Sightseeing : Thirunelly Temple, Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary (has almost 900 elephants).
