2/5x + 2= 1/5+6

=> (2x+10)/5 = (1+30)/5
=> 2x+10 = 31
=> 2x = 31-10
=> x = 21/2
=> x = 11.5

your answer is 11.5

2007-03-08 04:59:41 · answer #6 · answered by Como 7 · 0 0

this is qute simple
2/5 = .4
1/5 = .2
so
.4X + 2 = .2 + 6
subtract 2 from both sides and you get
.4X = 4.2
divide both sides by .4 and you get
X = 10.5
