I think I fell of the "with it" truck, I go away for a few weeks and come back to "orange box" discussions. WHAT (besides the obvious) is an orange box and what does it do? How do you get one and why would you want one?

I'm assuming it's a new feature? I've never seen/noticed them before today. I wasn't even sure what they were for but have since then gathered that they're for those who answer one specific genre of questions over another.
Though I don't care if I do or don't have one, I am curious as to how many questions you have to answer to get it. I looked for answers from the help page but still can't find anything even talking about them.
