A number of stations broadcast their channels openly in the airwaves, like old school TV! This is beside piping to the cable and satellite companies.

In fact, as High Def is implemented, more and more stations will also be broadcast in HD.

If your new HD tv includes an antenna connection, you could get a proper antenna and receive them for free. My mitsubishi has a slot to insert a tv receiver for HD viewing,

So, yes watching tv is free if you get the antenna thing up and sparking!!!

There's lots of ways ...
for instance CW has online shows that they air both on TV network and their webpage (when they finally upload it)
Same goes for NBC and CBS and sometimes you can catch a few things on Cartoon Network's site too.

Check out the website of the TV station that is offering a show you might want to see.

If it's not ...
you can always download it "illegally" ;-)
By going through P2P or Torrent Sites.

Sometimes you can find TV shows and stuff on uTube and other things like uTube like interTube and what not.
Check them all out.

Sometimes you might not be so lucky, I have yet to find "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends" online for FREE to watch ANYWHERE ... I might just have to buy the seson.
They don't even have it to buy from the iTunes TV series section ... so lame ...
oh well

Yeah check out the iTunes store and other stores like it you might be able to buy sesean passes to download your shows or watch them over the net.

;-)

Good luck!
::: Peace :::
