Wow, a lady that cooks gourmet meals, runs your bath water, and is into Hot Rods as well, how lucky can one guy get. I agree that the 1957 chevy was one of the nicest looking, I especially like the 1957 Chevy Nomad (two door wagon, beautiful).
If I lived in a climate like yours I'd go for a full fendered 1932 ford (duece), chevy powered of course.

not that I wouldn't love a classic car....i've always been partial to mustang convertables....
But If I had to choice between one or the other...i'd go with a new car...more reliable all year round and those collectors cars...you don't want to be driving those around in the wisconsin winters. my dad has a 66 t-bird with the landau hard top...it goes into storage during the winter months and never goes out in the rain.

I have a 325I & an X5...both 'o4.....
(love to sell the 325...it's only got 10k mi. on it...lol)
but I did have the coolest '57 Chevy sport coupe..it was a little rocket...( that was many, many years ago...)
