I definitely will...!!!
And I hope everyone was active in the passing of the email when little Sheldean went missing. I also do hope people will be dressed in pink...

Thanks for reminding the nation sweety, I am 100% behind you. Everyone should get their friends and family involved in this, to show we care and want something done about this. If not by the government we all seem weary of, at least by us individuals.

i'm going to have a child in the next seven months...and i'll give my life if it means making every means possible for his/her safety. If you read in magazines, and papers and see the undisclosed number of children who go missing... you'd understand the crises we're under and brutality these kids face. Thato, Sheldean and many others whose stories shocked the nation... Its no use saying, the government should do it but we know they wont. They dont get what it is like to be a worried parent of an individual, so why count on them? Just wear your pink clothes and stop pinning every responsibility on a mute source...!!! (sorry, shot of anger after that viking idiot as well)

Proud I agree with you, but not fully. I agree that it is time that we stopped complaining, holding hands in a circle and singing kumbaya. It's time for action, however violence, anger or rage has never really helped in solving issues - especially when it comes to our no. 1 growing issue of crime, in all forms. There has got to be other ways of combatting and resolving the issues this country is faced with without resorting to violence. Remember the criminals are the wild animals, taking ourselves to their level will not eliviate the situation but it'll only aggrevate it. You sound like a very intelligent, wise guy - with the anger and rage aside I think you would have what it takes to come up with some good, permanent solutions.

As for wearing Pink - like Proud said. We've got to do more than wear pink or ribbons. We've worn too many ribbons of different colours, supported the causes now it's time to put some action.

Sweet Angel - While I sympathise and agree with your sentiment, it would make no difference wearing pink clothes.
You could do pretty much whatever you can think of and it would not budge the ANC's approach to crime, another murdered South African child is of no concern to them.
My sympathies and condolences to the family of Sheldean, no parent should outlive a child, I can only imagine what you've been through. God bless.

ok, here's the thing.

let's stop wearng ribbons and shirts and badges to stand in solidarity.

it just gives people a "feel good" vibe, and essentially means NOTHING.

lets actually DO something about it.

guys i'm angry at what's happening in our country, but me wearing a shirt or a ribbon does not stop the atrocities.

me buying a gun and getting vigilante on the crminals @ss, that makes a difference.

people, taking out drug lords makes a difference.

hanging rapists in public, that makes a difference.

allowing the families of murder victims only 10 minutes with the murderer and an axe makes a difference.

lets start fighting back in the only language the criminals understand - VIOLENCE.

I most certainly will and will tell everyone I know to do the same. We must stop this senseless loss of life - especially of little children.
Thanks for the question - x

I don't have any pink shirts BUT I'm going to try my best. I will try and borrow one or quickly go and buy one after work.

Don't worry about that. Just don't screw up the World Cup in 2010.
