There's every chance you could run out of space with a 30 gb. I bought an 80 last November and i'm chuffed with it. I've got 11000 songs on there and there's still room for another 9000. The only concern is that the battery doesn't last all that long but that's just clutching at straws really.
Get the 80 my friend and you'll be a lot happier with your purchase.

It is very rare to fill an 80gb iPod Video with just music. I have 54gb of music on mine and that is well over 10,000 songs. If you put a ton of movies on it, let's say 6-7 dvd, that eats up space as well. 4.7gb x 7 = 32.9gb

unless you are going to put a alot of movies on it get the 30gig. I convinced myself to get the 80 and with a little under 7000 songs its taking up about 27gig of space so far.

If u don't care about the money, go for 80 Gig else you will always want it and will wonder what if.....

If you ain't a techie geek who has a love for gizmo's, go for a 30 Gig its more sensible and of course it fulfills the purpose.

30gb is plenty - unless you want lots of videos.
